I enjoyed this woman's attitude toward training oneself, in this case, she is an undefeated boxer. Also, her attitude on expression. An inspiring combination.

I happen to know this mom in Seattle and she has a great outlook on life, hilarious kids, and good design sense.

May- most recent fabric creation
I made this messenger-style diaper bag for my sister for her baby shower. It has 2 expandable pockets and a large zippered pocket on the interior, and 2 flush bottle/accessory pockets on the exterior. I got the interior patterned fabric from a discount fabric store in Portland. All corduroy was picked up at stores like Jo-Ann fabrics (although I don't recommend them for variety). No pattern was used, I broke 4 needles because of the layers of corduroy, and it took a total of 7 or so hours.

bedthings made before 2011
I made this quilt in the summer of 2009 for friends Erin and Nick. It includes fabrics I have been collecting since moving to Seattle in 2008 as well as pieces of shirts that Nick had worn out.
This quilt is double-sided. One side is themed in red and brown, with a brick-layers pattern. It includes a square that is a pocket from some pants I had when I was 14. I have had friends leave a piece of toast for me in the quilt, tucked in that pocket. The other side is green and purple, with long strips of verdure corduroy.
Pieced pillowcases 1 and 2.
