I made this quilt in the summer of 2009 for friends Erin and Nick. It includes fabrics I have been collecting since moving to Seattle in 2008 as well as pieces of shirts that Nick had worn out.
This quilt is double-sided. One side is themed in red and brown, with a brick-layers pattern. It includes a square that is a pocket from some pants I had when I was 14. I have had friends leave a piece of toast for me in the quilt, tucked in that pocket. The other side is green and purple, with long strips of verdure corduroy.
